PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject feeder so designed that the inclination of the top face level of fiber stock reserved in a tower is radically corrected, tower height is decreased, and the pressure of carrying air can be set at discretion and properly irrespective of the specific gravity of the fiber stock. SOLUTION: This fiber stock feeder has such a scheme that, feed ducts 2a, 2b are provided above both sides in the cross direction of a tower 1 with fiber stock reserved therein, the fiber stock being pneumatically carried via a Y-shaped distributive duct 6 into these feed ducts 2a, 2b; a damper member 7 is set up at the center of the upper part inside the tower 1 so as to be situated midway of the feed ducts 2a, 2b and movably controllable in the cross direction of the tower 1; air vent ports 9 for exhausting carrying air therethrough are furnished in the cross direction on both the front and rear faces of the tower 1 and equipped with divergence control members 10, the transverse deviation of the amount of fiber stock reserved in the tower 1 is detected by a pressure switch or the like, and based on the result, both the damper member 7 and the divergence control member 10 are subjected to control actuation, thereby fiber stock fed from both the feed ducts 2a and 2b are fed and packed uniformly in the cross direction inside the tower 1.
