PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a drum coated with a resin at its inner surface wherewith adhesiveness is maintained for a paint film while elution of a bisphenol A or the like from the paint film is substantially prevented. SOLUTION: A paint including one or more of resins such as an epoxy resin synthesized with a bisphenol A being a part of its material or a phenol epoxy resin is applied as an intermediate layer to the inner surface of a drum, then the drum is baked at 130 to 230 deg.C and after that, coated with a polyolefin resin applied to the intermediate layer and baked again at 160 to 260 deg.C. The coating is formed of the intermediate layer and the surface coating of a polyolefin resin, and a free bisphenol A does not exist or is stabilized in the surface coating polyolefin resin.
