MAMMALIAN CYTOKINE-LIKE FACTOR 7

A polypeptide having at least 90 % identity to mammalian cytokine-like factor 7 (Zcyto7) polypeptide or variants is new. Also claimed are: (1) peptide/polypeptide having at least 15 amino acids comprising epitope-bearing portion of one of the twenty one aproximately 170 aa Zcyto7 sequences given in the specification; (2) isolated polynucleotide encoding Zcyto7 or (1), optionally fused to carrier polypeptide/molecule; (3) expression vectors comprising (operably linked): transcriptional promoter; DNA segment as in (2) and transcription terminator; (4) expression vectors comprising (operably linked): transcriptional promoter; DNA segment encoding chimeric polypeptide comprising Zcyto7/(1) joined by peptide bond to second polypeptide/protein; and transcription terminator; (5) antibodies (monoclonal/polyclonal) specifically binding Zcyto7 or (1), and fragments, single chain antibodies and humanised antibodies of these; and (6) anti-idiotypic antibodies of (5).
