<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the inferior limbs/superior limbs blood pressure indexes with high reliability even if calcification is caused in the blood vessels of the inferior limbs. SOLUTION: This measuring device calculates a right pulse propagation time DTR from the heart the region where a cuff 24 is wound around by means of a right pulse propagation speed information calculating means 88, and then calculates a left pulse propagation time DTL from the heart to the region where a cuff 40 is wound around by means of a left pulse propagation speed information calculating means 90, and the right pulse propagation time DTR and the left pulse propagation time DTL is compared by a inferior limb contractive pressure selective means 92. The blood pressure at the time of inferior limb contraction measured on the longer side of the pulse propagation time DT out of the right inferior limb and the left inferior limb is selected as the blood pressure at the time of inferior limb contraction for calculating the API. In other words, since the blood pressure at the time of the inferior limb contraction measured on the side where the calcification is little out of the tight inferior limb and left limb is selected as the blood pressure at the rime of inferior limb contraction for calculating the API, the API high in reliability can be obtained.</p> |
