<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcining furnace for retardant fuel that can utilize the retardant fuel, for example, anthracite, petroleum coke or the like as an exclusive fuel without large increase in the installation cost and reduction of thermal efficiency. SOLUTION: This calcining furnace is equipped with a pneumatic line 12 for pneumatically transporting pulverized retardant fuel, an exhausted gas aspirator 14 for sucking the high-temperature exhaustion gas into the pneumatic line, and a mixed gas-feeding line 16 for jetting the mixed gas of the fuel, the air and the exhaustion gas into the calcining furnace for combustion. The exhausted gas aspirator 14 comprises an ejector 14a provided in the elevated temperature gas duct of the cyclone type heat exchanger that constitutes the suspension pre-heater and a jetting tube 14b for jetting the retardant fuel into the ejector with the air pressure. Further, this furnace is equipped with a device 15 for moving the jetting tube, a temperature detector 17 and a jetting temperature controller 18 to maintain the mixed gas to be jetted into the furnace at a constant temperature.</p> |
