<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an opening/closing element to coincide with the surface of a vehicle body around its peripheral edge, without much considering repulsive force of a weatherstrip nor using a strap bar that requires an extra space to mount it, even if the dimensional difference of the opening/closing element or the like or assembling errors or the like are generated. SOLUTION: An opening is formed in a vehicle body 11 and a flange part 17a is provided on the peripheral edge of the opening in such a way as to be recessed by a predetermined depth from the surface of the vehicle body 11. The opening can be opened and closed by an opening/closing element 13 and a hollow weatherstrip 26 is attached to the peripheral edge of the flange part 17a in such a way as to be opposite to the peripheral edge of the opening/ closing element 13. Further, a hard stopper 28 is fitted over the end of the hollow weatherstrip 26, the thickness of the hard stopper 28 being such that when the opening/closing element 13 is closed, the surface of the opening/closing element 13 coincides with the surface of the vehicle body 11.</p> |
