PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stably high reliability and easily provide a flexible cup ring with a desired characteristic by winding a cord integrally formed of elastic plastic between adjoining driving-side connecting elements and driven- side connecting elements. SOLUTION: A die is fitted as surrounding adjoining driving-side connecting elements 1 and driven-side connecting elements 2 having collars 6 fitted thereto and elastomer is made to flow therein. A link type or an endless belt type connecting the two connecting elements 1, 2 to each other is formed into a prescribed thickness. An integral cord 20 is integrally formed by a thermoplastic elastomer so that the shape of the integral cord 20 can be arbitrarily set. When imparing a nonlinear characteristic thereto as a spring characteristic, the integral cord 20 is just bent to have looseness so that the integral cord 20 obtains the nonlinear characteristic by just moving from a state having the looseness to a tense state.
