PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cellulosic twisted yarn woven fabric having extremely slight friction mark, uniformity and a high crimp feeling such as crepe de Chine, Palace crape, etc., by untwisting a cellulose twisted yarn woven fabric by providing the woven fabric with water of fixed times as much as the weight of the woven fabric and rubbing and untwisting the woven fabric. SOLUTION: In this twisted yarn woven fabric obtained by using a cellulose multifilament yarn having >=97 twist multiplier as warp and/or weft, the woven fabric is provided with water of 1.2-2.0 times as much as the weight of the woven fabric and rubbed and untwisted so as to untwist a cellulose twisted yarn woven fabric. Preferably the twisted woven fabric is embossed in advance, rubbed and untwisted by using an air flow type treating machine. Preferably the cellulose multifilament yarn is a yarn of 30-150 denier and the woven fabric has a plain weave texture, a twill fabric texture or a satin weave texture.
