PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturning prevention device capable of increasing overturning preventive force by a wire for stay in a portal lifter. SOLUTION: A vertically long support 61 is set along the side of a lift device 1, the support 61 is set so that support upper end height comes to be at a higher position than an upper end part 31 of an upper part cylinder in the most extended state in a state where a lower end side is held on the side of a lower part cylinder 2, a slider 33 provided at a position to the upper end part of the upper part cylinder is fitted on the support 61 free to slide, and a wire connecting part 63 to connect a wire 7 for stay is provided at a higher position than height of an upper end of the lower part cylinder 2 in the support 61 on a portal lifter. Consequently, it comes to be possible to support the lift device 1 by the wire 7 for stay at a higher position than before.
