PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a label which is not easily peeled off and used as a raw material for a recycle process by making the background of a bar code transparent. SOLUTION: An egg container 1 is integrally formed from a transparent synthetic resin such as polyester, polyvinyl chloride, and has an upper cover 3 and a body part 4 which are openable through a hinge 2. The interior of each of the cover 3 and the body part 4 is partitioned to provide a plurality of conical egg storage parts 5a, 5b, each of which receives a half of an egg, and flanges 6a, 6b are provided on the outer peripheries of the cover 3 and part 4. A bar code 7 is directly printed on each of the storage parts 5a, 5b. The bar code 7 may be printed on an area of the flanges 6a, 6b of the cover 3 and part 4 at a proper position. For printing the bar code, a heat transfer printer, ink jet printer, laser beam printer, etc., are used and the material of a label is transparent and of the same material as the container 1, and a bar code may be printed on the label which is affixed onto the container 1.
