PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for storing a compact disk such as an audio-video disk and the like in which easy selection can be done out of a number of storage cases by a user. SOLUTION: A case main body 6 with a cover to be opened and closed freely is provided with as back section 8 having a hinge structure as a hanging section of the cover and a storage section storing an information storing and reproducing disk such as a compact disk or the like, and a case 2 for storing the information storing and reproducing disk, such as the compact disk is provided with the case main body with its upper face of the storage section covered with the cover, and a back cover 10 attached to the open face, and covering the open face.
