PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super horizontal punch for a milling cutter which can accurately perform punch work and a scratching of a side surface in the same process to flattening. SOLUTION: A workpiece is mounted in a milling chuck of a milling cutter, setting a spindle surely neutral, is positioned setting a right angle relating to an X or Y-axis by a square or dial gage against a main unit side surface and the spindle is locked. A tip of a punch is fed in a punching direction in a workpiece side surface not to be touched by about 1 mm, a clutch cam 6 is hooked to a part of a brim in a hammer 4. A handle is screwed to be mounted in a screw mounted an opposite side of the clutch cam shaft 6 to a frame 2, and is tumbled till click stopping in a punching direction, to operate the clutch cam to hit the hammer and the punch is tapped to perform punching. This operation is repeated until the clutch cam is not operated.
