<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve communication quality by making the power control of a mobile terminal highly precise and to increase the subscriber capacity by measuring the permissible time up to insertion of a transmission power control bit into transmission data and reflecting it on insertion timing. SOLUTION: An SIR calculation part 10 for a desired wave-to-interference wave power ratio calculates the SIR value of a received radio wave from a mobile terminal and a TPC(transmission power control) bit determination part 11 controls a down TPC bit to a target SIR value and inputs it to a TPC timing measurement part 12. The measurement part 12 selects earlier one between whether the TPC bit can be inserted at the current insertion position and the insertion one slot later, and measures and sets in a register the time from the arrival of the down TPC bit to the output. When the permissible time is less than a threshold and TPC insertion timing is difficult, a TPC timing adjustment part in the measurement part 12 is informed of that to adjust the SIR measurement time, but when the permissible time is more than the threshold, the TPC bit is inserted into the down communication data.</p> |
