<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge granule into a furnace without executing a special pre- treatment and agglomerating and without causing lowering of thermal efficiency, and the like, in the furnace caused by moisture contained in the granule when the granule containing the moisture is utilized as a raw material in the furnace. SOLUTION: Granular slurry is injected from above molten metal surface in the dispersion state in the furnace 1, and after vaporizing the moisture in the granular slurry with the heat in the furnace, this granular slurry is dropped onto the molten metal surface. Further, desirably, the granular slurry is injected and stuck to the furnace wall in the furnace, and after vaporizing the moisture of the granular slurry with the heat on the wall surface of the furnace, the ganular slurry is dropped out onto the molten steel surface in the furnace.</p> |
