METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING EVAPORATED WATER FROM DESULFURIZATION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover evaporated water from a desulfurization equipment to achieve the reduction of water and to suppress the lowering of the capacity of an adsorbent. SOLUTION: An adsorbing tank 2 is arranged to the passage of the outlet moist exhaust gas 102 from an absorbing tower 1 and a moving bed 21 of an adsorbent is formed in the adsorbing tank 2 and steam is adsorbed by the adsorbent to be removed from exhaust gas 101 and the adsorbent having adsorbed steam is brought into contact with the exhaust gas 101 on the upstream side of the inlet of a desulfurizing absorbing tower through the metal wall of a regeneration tank 3 to desorb the steam of the adsorbent by the heat of the exhaust gas to regenerate the adsorbent. The generation of evaporated water is suppressed and a part of evaporated water is recovered to raise the temp. of the exhaust gas not only to prevent the generation of white smoke but also to suppress the lowering of the capacity of the adsorbent.
