<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron club set which enables a golfer to easily hit a ball as the whole of the set and is free of an odd feel in head shapes at the time of addressing by lowering the centroid of the heads on a lower shaft number side and forming the clubs on a higher shaft number side in such a manner that the ball can be hit at and in an amied distance and direction by applying spin to the ball. SOLUTION: Recessed parts 27 are formed in top parts 21e of the heads of the iron clubs on at least the lower shaft number side of the golf club set constituting of a plurality of the iron clubs from the lower shaft numbers to the higher shaft numbers. The depth of the recessed parts 27 is made shallower toward the higher shaft numbers. The recessed parts 27 are formed to an arcuate shape.</p> |
