<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a valve by heating while carrying a current from the outside in a noncontact manner by electromagnetic induction, which valve mechanism uses a memory shape alloy element for medical or industrial use. SOLUTION: This shape memory alloy heating system by electromagnetic induction has a transmitting part composed of an oscillator circuit, an amplifier circuit and a transmitting coil, a receiving part composed of a receiving coil and a resonance synchronization circuit, and a shape memory alloy element connected thereto as a load. A valve mechanism adopting the shape memory alloy element is prepared by covering a pipe to be closed with a fastening means 1 made of thick and cylindrical sponge, surrounding its outer periphery by two arcuate outer plates 3 connected to both sides around an opening shape memory alloy piece 2, and attaching a strip-like bias spring 4 to its outer side along the outer plate.</p> |
