PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for ink-jet recording that can inhibit the ink-flow channel, for example, the nozzles or the like in a high-speed ink-jet printer from being clotted. SOLUTION: This recording ink includes a water-soluble polymer compound and at least two kinds of water-soluble organic solvents of three or more carbon atoms. In this case, at least one in the water-soluble organic solvents bearing three or more carbon atoms is an alkane diol. In addition, this ink can contain at least two kinds of dyes where the solubility in water of the most soluble dye can be set over three-fold that of the poorest soluble dye. As the water-soluble polymer, can be cited a substance that is solid at 25 deg.C. |
