PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design of a snowguard, facilitate inventory management, and reduce the cost by providing a snowguard formed of a fitting piece having a locking part locked on the tip of a roof material and a snowguard piece which can be locked on the end of the fitting piece. SOLUTION: In this snowguard 1, a fitting piece 2 is formed into an upper piece 21, a side piece 22 and a lower piece 23 by bending a beltlike metallic plate into U-shape, which form a locking part 24 locked on the tip of a roof material, and a locking piece 211 is provided on the tip of the upper piece 21. On the other hand, a snowguard piece 3 is like a plate made of a polycarbonate resin, and a narrow recess 31 is formed in the substantially central part. The locking part 24 is locked on the tip of the roof material, plural fitting pieces 2 are fitted at designated spaces, and the recess 31 of the snowguard piece 3 is inserted in the locking piece 211 of the fitting plate 2. As the fitting piece 2 and the snowguard piece 3 are separately provided, both are combined to precisely cope with the snow conditions, the inventory management is facilitated, and the cost can be reduced. Further, the guard is made of a synthetic resin so that a beautiful design can be given to the snowguard piece 3.
