PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window lattice for emergency escape, which is simplified in construction and good in appearance. SOLUTION: A plurality of muntins 6 are slidably supported by a guide frame 4 which is connected like a frame. The muntins 6 are connected to each other by a flexible wire 15, and the muntin 6 at the most outside location is fitted to a lock lever which is axially mounted on the guide frame 4 in a manner being capable of derricking, to thereby restrict movement of the muntins 6. Ordinarily, the muntins 6 block a window opening by locking by means of the right and left lock levers with the wire 15 being in a strained state. In an emergency, the lock levers are tilted and the muntins 6 are pulled together to one side of the guide frame 4, to thereby open the window opening.
