PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an excess coating material in the application of the coating material for a sealer by moving an air blowing port to cross a patterned surface and changing the inclined direction of an air blowing port in the normal movement from that in the reverse movement. SOLUTION: The air blowing port 3 is attached to an intermediate part of 2 shafts 9 horizontally installed between travelling bodies 7, 7a to be held between two rails 5 and rocked by the action of air cylinders 15, 15a. At the time of applying an acryl emulsion coating material for sealer on the surface of the plate 1 such as a foamed concrete plate, the coating material is in an excessive state. Then, the air blowing port 3 is moved from the right to the left to the coating material excessively applied to fill the surface of the plate 1 and a groove 2. That is, the coating material is pushed out in the left direction by giving an inclined angleβto the air blowing port 3. Next, the inclined angle of the air blowing port 3 is changed to move the air blowing port 3 reversely to level the remaining coating material to obtain a uniform film thickness.
