PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display case which can improve the visibility of an ornament, intensify the design concept of the ornament and the display case as a whole and allow the ornament to be put in and taken out easily. SOLUTION: The display case of this invention comprises a bottom plate 1 which carries an ornament and a housing 2 which encloses the ornament loaded on the bottom plate 1. The housing 2 encloses the ornament loaded on the bottom plate 1 before and behind and left and right, and is provided with plural transparent plates 3-6 arranged to adjoin each other and a ceiling plate 7 which encloses the ornament loaded on the bottom plate 1 from the upside. The transparent plate 5 positioned behind the ornament constitutes a background plate which has a pattern 11 as a background of the ornament. The transparent plate 3 can be opened and closed freely and constitutes an opening and shutting door for taking in and out an ornament from the housing 2.
