PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner to remove not only pollen floating in the air but also pollen dropped on the floor and pollen intruding by adhering to clothes and bodies. SOLUTION: In an air cleaner comprising a filter 3 for air cleaning and a blower 4 both installed in an air flow path formed in a main body box 1 so as to connect a suction inlet 2 and a discharge outlet 5, a suction inlet opening/closing means 9 for opening/closing the suction inlet 2 of the main body 1 is installed, and an auxiliary suction inlet 13 separated from the suction inlet 2 of the main body box 1 is formed, and an air flow path 16 connecting the auxiliary suction inlet 13 and the filter 3 for air cleaning is formed, so that an air flow path from the auxiliary suction inlet 13 to the discharge outlet 5 of the main body box 1 via the filter 3 for air cleaning and the blower 4 is formed when the suction inlet 2 of the main body box 1 is closed. |
