PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct manufacturing with low cost by avoiding vulcanized bonding when connecting a flange member and an elastic wall member of a floating adapter in an engine that supports an oil pan in floated condition. SOLUTION: In this support structure, an upper end portion 5a and a lower end portion 5b of an elastic wall member 5 of a floating adapter 10 that connects the top surface of an oil pan 3 and the bottom end of a cylinder block 2 of an engine 1 are formed in a flange shape toward outside of the oil pan 3, respectively. The upper end portion 5a is held between a cylinder block lower portion 2a and an upper flange member 6a, and the lower end portion 5b between a lower flange member 6b and an oil pan upper end portion 3b.
