PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition which gives a molded article excellent in surface smoothness, jet-blackness, impact resistance, and weatherability by compounding a graft copolymer containing a composite rubber comprising a polyorganosiloxane and an alkyl (meth)acrylate rubber with a thermoplastic resin and a black organic dye. SOLUTION: This composition, for thermal molding, is prepared by compounding (A) a graft copolymer formed by grafting a monomer selected from among aromatic alkenyl compounds, (meth)acrylic ester compounds, and vinyl cyanide compounds onto a composite rubber comprising a polyorganosiloxane and an alkyl (meth)acrylate rubber with (B) a (co)polymer formed by (co)polymerizig at least one monomer component selected from among aromatic alkenyl compounds, vinyl cyanide compounds, and (meth)acrylic ester compounds and (C) an organic dye adjusted to black by mixing synthetic primary color dyes, the amount of ingredient C compounded being 0.001-10 wt.% of the sum of amounts of ingredients A and B.
