PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a cost by simplifying fitting of an ornament having an arm rest in a door rim of an automobile or the like. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, an ornamental skin 40 wherein a flexible upper skin material 41 on which a thin upper barrier material 45 is superimposed on almost the whole surface, and a flexible arm rest part skin material 42 becoming an arm rest part are joined by stitching, is previously prepared. It is placed on a front side molding face 21 of a skin side mold 20, and further a peripheral barrier material 46 covering a part other than the upper barrier material is placed thereon. By bringing a rear face side mold 30 having a rear side molding face 31 thereto, and an ornamental skin 40 and a peripheral part of respective barrier materials 45, 46 are pinched between respective outer peripheral faces 22, 32 of both molds. By expanding a foam raw material 49a supplied between the rear side molding face and both barrier materials 45, 46, a flexible and elastic urethane foam 49 filled between both barrier materials 45, 46 fixed to an inner face of the ornamental skin 40 and the rear side molding face is formed.
