PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering section structure in a harvester capable of mitigating the sense of confinedness of a relevant operator sat on the steering seat while securing good operating performance for the harvester. SOLUTION: This steering section structure has such a scheme that above a thin-walled type foot cover 41 stood on the front portion of a travel machine body 2 in such a mode as to be situated in front of a steering seat 40, the main steering panel 42 is set up in such a manner as to be situated above the height of the seat level 40a of the steering seat 40, a steering panel and a steering operative unit equipped with a tackle 25 for steering operation of the travel machine body 2 are disposed on one end side of the main steering panel 42 and the other end side in the transverse direction of the panel 42, respectively, and furthermore a display panel is set up midway of the transverse direction of the main steering panel 42.
