PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently carry out synthesis in a short ultrasonic irradiation time by placing a starting raw material in a stage prior to the carrying out of a hydrothermal synthetic reaction in water, mixing the raw material with water, irradiating the mixture with ultrasonic waves and then conducting the hydrothermal synthetic reaction. SOLUTION: Respective industrial reagents such as silicas, e.g. sodium silicate, aluminas, e.g. sodium aluminate or alkalis, e.g. sodium hydroxide and natural minerals such as acid clay, kaolin, feldspar, perlite, bentonite or allophane can be used as a starting raw material. A reactional vessel is placed in a container filled with an ultrasonic transmission medium such as water and the transmission medium is then ultrasonically vibrated to thereby ultrasonically vibrate the reactional vessel. As a result, the reactional vessel is indirectly ultrasonically vibrated to thereby irradiate the starting raw material with ultrasonic waves. The time of irradiation is sufficiently about, 10 min. An ultrasonic cleaner is cited as a preferred example and the irradiation can be carried out simply by filling the container with the transmission medium such as water and placing a vibrator therein while placing the reactional vessel therein and carrying out the ultrasonic vibration.
