<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of shortage of lubricating oil by discharging cooling medium gas from a crank chamber. SOLUTION: In this variable displacement swash plate clutchless compressor, a bearing chamber 60 is arranged so as to be communicated with a crank chamber 8. Cooling medium gas introduced into the bearing chamber 60 is burst into a suction chamber 13 through bursting passages 100A, 100B. An orifice 100Aa is formed on the bursting passage 100A, while a pressure difference valve 101 is formed on the bursting passage 100B. The cooling medium gas is introduced into the suction chamber 13 from the bursting passage 100A through the bearing chamber 60 when the pressure in the crank chamber 8 is low. When the pressure in the crank chamber 8 is high, the pressure difference valve 101 is opened for speedily lowering the pressure in the crank chamber 8. In any case, the cooling medium gas containing oil mist passes along a radial bearing 24 and a thrust bearing 25 inside the bearing chamber 60, preventing shortage of oil for lubricating the bearings.</p> |
