PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the production of a crosslinked poly-γ- glutamic acid capable of producing a large amount of the acid having uniform property in a short time by the irradiation of electron rays and provide its production apparatus. SOLUTION: A crosslinked poly-γ-glutamic acid is produced by transferring a container 2 holding a solution containing dissolved poly-γ-glutamic acid with a conveyor 3 and irradiating the solution in the container with electron rays using an electron ray generator 1 while transferring the vessel 2.
