PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air circulation type vacuum cleaner suitable for miniaturization and capable of improving dust suction performance and performing cleaning without sticking carbon powder on a surface to be cleaned. SOLUTION: Concerning the air circulation type vacuum cleaner for performing cleaning while collecting and circulating air, which is passed through a dust bag 80 inside a main body 1 of cleaner and exhausted from a motor- driven air blower 15, back to a suction opening body, a brushless motor 15a is used for a motor for driving a fan 15b of the motor-driven air blower 15. Thus, the generation source of carbon powder as one of causes to make dirty the surface to be cleaned and the rotary cleaning body of the suction opening body is eliminated and it is not necessary to provide an exhaust filter for removing the carbon powder and an exhaust chamber for housing this filter on the rear side of the motor-driven air blower.
