PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erosion of alkali glass composing glass ceramic by forming an Ag/Pd electrode on the surface of glass ceramic, activating this electrode with an alkaline surface activating soln. and forming an electroless Ni plating layer and/or an electroless Au plating layer on the electrode. SOLUTION: The upper face of a bottom board part 1 made of glass ceramic is coated with Ag/Pd paste, and baking is executed to form an Ag/Pd electrode 3. Next, the bottom board part 1 is dipped into an alkaline surface activating soln. of ordinary temp. contg. sodium borohydride and whose pH is controlled to 10 to 11 to activate the surface of the Ag/Pd electrode 3. The bottom board part 1 is taken up and is cleaned with pure water. After that, the bottom board part 1 is dipped into each plating bath and is water-washed, by which an electroless Ni-B plating layer 81, an electroless Ni-P plating layer 82, an electroless Au strike plating layer 91 and an electroless Au plating layer 92 are successively formed on the surface of the Ag/Pd electrode 3.
