PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a window molding variable in its cross-sectional shape by a simple mechanism and to ensure the bonding strength of the cross-sectional variable part of the molding. SOLUTION: The upper molding part 18 of an extruded window molding 12 wherein a support part 26 and a lower molding part 28 are bonded is pressed by a press roller 74. When the support part 26 is made longest and the press roller 74 is positioned at the uppermost part, the upper molding part 18 is pressed by the own weight of a weight plate 82 and that of a slide plate 84 in such a state that the air pressure of an air cylinder 92 is set to zero and air pressure is raised as the support part 26 becomes short to press the upper molding part 18 and, in a process wherein the support part 26 becomes long after the support part 26 disappears, air pressure is set to zero and the upper molding part is pressed under the own weights of both plates 82, 84. By utilizing the pressure roller 74 and the own weights of the members annexed thereto, the pressure force of the pressure roller 74 can be optimized without performing complicated control.
