PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the collision of a container leg part to a container loading part in the container loading work with the exposed container leg part. SOLUTION: In a detachable container car comprising a lift arm mechanism 60 for demountably loading a container 20 on a frame 40 as a container loading part, a detecting part is mounted on one of a container leg part 22a mounted on a lower part of a front end of the container in such manner that it can be projected and retracted, and a frame rear part, and a part to be detected (handle) corresponding to the detecting part is mounted on the other. When the container leg part 22a in the projected condition approaches the frame rear end in the container loading motion, it is detected by the approaching of the detecting part and the handle or a detection board, and the loading motion of the lift arm mechanism 60 is automatically stopped on the basis of a result of the detection.
