PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fishing tool having desired sinking speed and surely sending the bait to a desired depth even if the main line has kinked or bent part by forming a line-passing hole having a specific shape. SOLUTION: This fishing tool is a ring 1 to be attached to the top of a line-passing float main body 5 and has an oblong hole 12 for passing a main line. As an alternative, a line-passing oblong hole is opened on a fishing tool for Shimori-dama (a combination of a small float and a weight). The oblong hole of the fishing tool for Shimori-dama can be formed with a split groove and an insertion hole of a line-passing float by forming a split groove having the dimension of the depth larger than the width and extending from the outer circumference inward, forming a notched disk having a cross-section notched with the split groove and fitting the notched disk to the top of the insertion hole of a line-passing float for passing the main line.
