PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive skylight device capable of ventilating air and a building for smoke, hardly influended by a manufacturing dispersion and capable of stable lifting operation of an upper frame. SOLUTION: An upper frame 3 is arranged above a lower frame 2 for forming a window opening on the rooftop of a building so as to be freely liftable by X arms 43, 44. The mutual sliding ends (the lower end of a piece 43b and the lower end of a piece 44b) of the X arms 43, 44 arranged in a plurality on the respective sides are connected by extensible/contracible connecting arms 20 composed of an inserting side arm 22 and a housing side arm 23. A head part of a bolt 26 is fixed by a nut 27a to a bracket 24 provided on the inserting side arm 22, and the tip of the bolt 26 is fixed by nuts 27b, 27c to a bracket 25 of the housing side arm 23. When adjusting an interval between the respective brackets 24, 25 by a fixing position of the nuts 27b, 27c, an inclination of the upper frame 3 can be changed.
