PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety facility favourable in a designing property, harmless to a passenger and high in safety in general which is provided between a moving handrail against the passenger moving in the rising direction by a passenger transporting body and a fixed object such as a ceiling forming a wedge type space in the vicinity of this moving handrail. SOLUTION: A first safety facility 3 is formed of a roughly triangular synthetic resin made main plate body 3A, a front edge body 3B connected to its front edge and a rear edge body 3C connected to its rear edge, and weight of the front edge side and the rear edge side of this first safety facility 3 is made roughly equal to each other on a facility furnished with the roughly triangular first safety facility 3 equipped in a suspended state in a wedge type space formed between a moving handrail and a fixed object such as a ceiling.
