PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dichroic heat-sensitive recording sheet having excellent color separability, small color developing unevenness and easy to manufacture, and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: A high sensitivity heat-sensitive recording layer 18 and a low sensitivity heat-sensitive recording layer 14 are laminated on a base material 12. A barrier layer 16 for disturbing an operation of a component for changing color developing characteristics of the recording layers contained in the layers 18 and 14 at the other recording layer is formed between the layers 18 and 14. Further, to protect the recording layer, a film 22 having a smooth surface is brought into close contact with a material of an overcoating layer, and the overcoating layer 20 formed by forming a film of the material is laminated. |
