PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve water stop performance and construction efficiency of a clearance between rafters by stacking a shape recovering form body on at least one of the roof tile side or the ridge tile side of a space member having the substantially same shape as the clearance between the roof tile and the ridge tile. SOLUTION: A shape recovering foam body 3 is stacked through an adhesive layer 4 on at least one of the roof tile side or the ridge tile side of a space member 2 where the upper surface is smooth, and the lower surface is provided with a projecting and recessed shape along the upper surface shape of the roof tile to form a rafter clearance 1. The foaming multiplication after the shape of the shape recovering foam body 3 is recovered is, for example, 0 to 80 times to secure water stop performance and heat insulation. The rafter clearance 1 is pressed on the roof tile in such a manner that the lower surface of the rafter clearance 1 abuts substantially without a gap and temporarily bonded with an acrylic adhesive, and further a tile ledge is disposed thereon, in which a large nail is driven to fix the tile ledge through the rafter clearance 1 and the roof tile to a roof board. When the ridge tile is fitted from above the tile ledge to be fixed, and left as it is, the shape recovering foam body 3 recovers its shape to completely block up the gap between the roof tile and the tile ledge, thereby securing water stop performance.
