PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which easily and surely execute the washing treatment of even the inner deep part of an object to be treated, such as a metallic cap for a tuning-fork type crystal oscillator, which is larger in a length size than a bore size and has a microspacing to make the liquid treatment difficult. SOLUTION: This method consists in immersing the metallic cap 1 into a boiling alcohol liquid 13, filling the vapor 13a thereof into an air pocket 16 of the metallic cap 1 and condensing the vapor 13 in the air pocket 16 by lowering the temperature of the alcohol liquid 13 to a temperature lower than the boiling point of the alcohol liquid to infiltrate the alcohol liquid 13 down into the inner deep part of the metallic cap 1 by utilizing the drop of internal pressure, then immersing the metallic cap into a prescribed pickling liquid, plating liquid, and the like. As a result, the metallic cap 1 is treated by infiltrating the pickling liquid, plating liquid, and the like, down into the inner deep part of the metallic cap by utilizing the wetting of the alcohol liquid 13.
