SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method engine 3 is installed in clamp 7 and is fastened by turning the clamp in horizontal plane, thus providing lock axial connection of engine. Device for implementing the method has support member 5 carrying engine 3 and clamp 7. Slots to suit projections 9 of engine are made on clamp 7. Clamp is provided with ring groove 10 for rotating clamp 7 around engine. Shape of groove is identical to aligned projections of 9 and 10 of engine and support member. Clamp 7 is rigidly coupled with steering wheel 2 and can be fixed relative to support member 5 to provide turning of steering wheel through 30 deg. either side.
