PURPOSE: A device for absorbing water pressure waves is provided to reduce the manufacturing costs by sharply reducing the parts and to excellently absorb the water pressure waves of a pipe line without extra repair. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for absorbing energy of water pressure change generated in the inside of a pipe line(P), a device for absorbing water pressure waves includes a tube housing(10) having a water pressure inflow port(11) in the part where connected with the pipe line, and a water pressure chamber(14) communicated with the water pressure inflow port with having accumulated rubber tubes(20) and an elastic absorbing port; and a water pressure absorbing element installed in the water pressure chamber of the tube housing for absorbing the water pressure waves generated in the pipe line.
