METHOD FOR RESTORING AND NOTIFYING DROPPED CALLS IN TERMINAL OF CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for restoring/notifying dropped calls in a terminal of a code division multiple access(CDMA) system is provided to select a reference active sector having sufficient energy among sectors managed in a traffic state when a call is abnormally dropped while making the call, to actively and quickly restore the dropped call so as to form a speech link. CONSTITUTION: If a call is abnormally dropped, a terminal checks whether the call is registered in a displaying function. If so, the terminal displays a reconnecting operation state on a displayer. The terminal checks whether the reconnecting operation state is registered in a displaying device. If so, the terminal informs a user of the reconnecting operation state. The terminal performs an automatic restoring process relating to the dropped call. The terminal checks whether the restoring process is successful. If so, the terminal checks whether the restoring process is registered in the displaying function. If so, the terminal displays the reconnecting operation state on the displayer. The terminal checks whether the restoring process is registered in the displaying device. If so, the terminal suspends an operation of the displaying device.
