PURPOSE: A locking apparatus for the front door is provided to simplify and minimize the locking mechanism by reducing the essential parts and operating radius of an auxiliary locking device. CONSTITUTION: A locking apparatus for the front door includes a box shape casing(10) having inner space, a main locking member(20) installed inside of the casing and controlled by a main locking device(30) for being locked or unlocked with protruding to the outside, and an auxiliary locking member(40) installed inside of the casing and controlled by an auxiliary locking device(50) for being locked or unlocked with switching operation, wherein the auxiliary locking device hingelike fixes upper and lower operating elements having protrusions in the front end part and curved parts integratively in the rear end part to be elastically balanced, and a movement block consisting of upper and lower operating protrusion parts is installed , which can move back and forth to contact with the curved parts.
