PURPOSE: A guide rail for road is provided to mitigate the impact when the car collides, and minimize the injury of driver and car by installing a buffer member. CONSTITUTION: A guide rail for road comprises a rail member and a buffer member. The buffer member is inserted in a depressed part(11) formed in the central part of rail member(10). In the central part of buffer member(20), a wiring hole is formed for electric wires and mitigates the impact. And in the wiring hole, the electric wires are arranged to supply power. In the front side of buffer member, a depressed receipt-groove is formed, and a light-emitting member is inserted into the depressed receipt-groove for the safe driving in the night. Thereby, the buffer member mitigates the impact when the car collides, so that the injury of driver and car can be minimized.
