PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform roller position adjustment for a vertical roller mill easily and in a short time. SOLUTION: In this adjusting device, a connecting rod 37 connected to a roller and a piston rod 36 of a hydraulic cylinder are coaxially connected by a flanged joint 44, and between a pair of first and second flanges 45, 46 constituting the flanged joint 44, one or plural liners 53 are freely attachably and detachably interposed. The liners 53 consist respectively of plural divided pieces connected with each other in the peripheral direction. By attaching and detaching the liners 53, the relative position of the roller and the hydraulic cylinder can be variably adjusted, and so the position adjustment of the roller can be performed easily and in a short time. |
