PURPOSE: An electron emission device of electric gun for cathode ray is provided to lengthen the lifetime of the electron emission device by thick spreading thickness of carbonate core and to cut down the ignition time of initial screen by shortening the gap between a heater and a cap. CONSTITUTION: An electron emission device of electric gun for cathode ray comprises a heater(16), a carbonate(18) and cap(20). The heater(16) emits the heat in interior of sleeve(14). The carbonate(18) is spread on the top of cap(20) flatly. The core of cap(20) is formed in concave. Accordingly, the core of carbonate(18) is thicker than the edge of carbonate(18).
