PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator to obtain high reliability on explosion proofness, in an indirect cooling refrigerator using a hydrogen carbide refrigerant. SOLUTION: A cooler 21, an adsorbent to absorb HC, a decomposition catalyst to decompose HC, and a heater 32 to heat the decomposition catalyst, are situated in a circulation air passage 28 through which air is circulated through a refrigerator. This constitution prevents the refrigerator from being filled with an HC refrigerant since the HC refrigerant is adsorbed and decomposed, reduces a risk of ignition to the HC refrigerant, and provides an effect to enhance reliability. |
