PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for obtaining the direct depiction type waterless blank printing plate superior in printing resistance. SOLUTION: The direct depiction type waterless blank printing plate is obtained by forming at least a thermosensitive layer and an ink repellent layer in this order on a substrate, and the thermosensitive layer contains at least (a) a compound decomposable by irradiation with laser beams and (b) a thermosetting compound. This blank printing plate is exposed and developed with water or a solution containing a surfactant, and then, heat treated at 100 deg.C-300 deg.C for 15 min-24 hr to form the waterless printing plate. |
