<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multidirectional input device which is free of malfunction in operation from an origin position by providing a switch means which becomes able to be operated with an operation body when the operation body moves nearly horizontally from the origin position by more than a specific range. SOLUTION: The switch means 900 is equipped with a ring guide 910 and a rubber member 930 fixed to a base board 830 held on a case main body 800. When the operation body Y moves into the specific range from the origin position, the abutting part (lower end of blind part 720) of the operation body Y abuts against the contacted part (ceiling surface part of ring guide 910) of the switch means 900 and further moves away from the origin position to electrify the rubber member 930 by a contact member 920. Namely, the switch means 900 is operated after the operation body Y is moved nearly horizontally from the origin position by more than the specific range, so the switch means 900 is prevented from being operated nearby the origin position. Consequently, there is no malfunction in the operation from the origin position.</p> |
